PBJ Outreach Grant Proposal

This is a grant proposal I wrote in a grant writing course from the perspective of PBJ Outreach, a nonprofit organization I've been involved with for 8 years that serves Detroit's homeless. I drew on my experiences volunteering to really convey PBJ's culture while targeting a funding program by Hillshire Farms in the request for support of a community kitchen project.

Matrix Human Services Grant Proposal

I wrote this grant proposal in a grant writing course from the perspective of Matrix Human Services, a nonprofit working to break poverty's grasp in Detroit. The proposal requests funding from the Knight Foundation for a project I envisioned that would provide clients with refurbished home computers and internet access, thus breaking the digital divide and increasing employability and school performances.

This is an analysis of how PBJ Outreach's brand is portrayed through its communication materials and culture. I included recommendations for strengthening its brand and drew on my volunteer experiences to give insights into how to retain more young volunteers.
